It is common in cases where outsourced labor is hired to carry out a project for workers to file labor lawsuits against their employers and the project owners if there is any salary, severance or compensation to be received.
However, the Regional Labor Court of the 1st Region, when judging an appeal filed by the worker, dismissed it, since the owner of the work is not liable for the labor debts of the contractor or subcontractor because he is not a builder or developer.
The decision determined that the owner of the work is not the true contractor of the outsourced employee, since the person who hired him was the person hired by the owner of the work.
