Law No. 14,311/2022 was approved, amending Law No. 14,151/2021, which regulates the return of pregnant women to in-person work after vaccination against COVID-19.

Based on this law, pregnant women must return to in-person work in the following cases:

With the end of the state of emergency;

After vaccination, starting on the day the Ministry of Health considers immunization complete; With the signing of a liability waiver, if the person chooses not to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Finally, if the activity carried out by the pregnant employee is not compatible with teleworking, the employer may temporarily suspend her employment contract.
