As a coercive measure for payment of labor debts, a decision was issued by the Regional Labor Court of the 4th Region (TRF4), ordering the seizure of the employer’s passport after receiving information about a trip the debtor and his family were planning to make to the United States. The decision also ordered the surrender of the debtor’s passport, under penalty of seizure by the Federal Police.

Due to the judgment, the debtor requested payment in installments, but this payment was denied, given that there was no proof of deposit of 30% of the debt amount.
